A former Team USA captain and standout collegiate athlete, Jake Rivera brings a competitive edge and leadership to every deal. He began his commercial real estate career in 2014 with Centers Business Management in Los Angeles, following a successful run as a professional hockey player. In 2017, he moved to Rochester and joined Caliber, where he works with national, regional, and local clients on site selection, strategy, demographic analysis, and negotiations.
Jake specializes in Tenant and Landlord representation along with property sales and 1031 exchanges throughout Upstate New York. Originally from Los Angeles, he’s a graduate of Tilton Prep and SUNY-Potsdam. He now lives in Pittsford with his wife, three daughters, one son, and two dogs. An active community member, Jake coached youth, high school, and college hockey. His professional recognition includes being named a Excellence in Construction & Real Estate Winner by the Rochester Business Journal and a CoStar Power Broker.
In 2022, Jake became a Partner of the firm, reflecting his consistent production, leadership, and commitment to client success. As a Partner, he plays an active role in shaping growth strategy while continuing to lead high-level transactions across multiple markets.
