Matthew Lester has over 10 years of experience in commercial brokerage, marketing, and business consulting. He founded Caliber Commercial Brokerage LLC in 2009 on four core values: Teamwork, Knowledge, Entrepreneurial Spirit, and Excellence.
Each of these are Matt’s personal values, adopted and polished throughout his academic, athletic, and professional careers, beginning when he attended The Northwood Preparatory School in Lake Placid, New York, and at SUNY Geneseo (BA, 2002). After a stint in production management in Nevada with the ESPN cable television network, Matt returned to Rochester, New York, home of his born-and-bred real estate family, to apply his values in the commercial real estate industry.
After completing over 150 commercial real estate transactions within a short five year span, and immersing himself in understanding the commercial real estate development process, Matt founded Caliber Commercial Brokerage to provide his brand of complete real estate services to retailers, investors, businesses, and non-profit institutions.
Matt has brokered hundreds of transactions and developed strategic growth plans for national retailers expanding across New York State. He has also owned commercial real estate, developed real estate projects, and acquired approvals for more than 25 strategic retail developments statewide.
Under Matt’s leadership, Caliber Commercial Brokerage has capitalized on understanding markets, cultivating visions, and creatively executing those visions. His specialty is in exclusive representation of national tenants, including: Aspen Dental, AT&T, Goodwill, Rue 21, McDonald’s, Costco, and Qdoba.
